Technique + Tuning = Boat Speed

Boat speed is not just about buying yourself to the front of the fleet, although having the best kit never hurts. Tuning is about setting up the boat to be as quick and as easy as possible to sail. Technique is about how you sail the boat, how you steer, how you trim the sails and the rudder, all that stuff that makes your boat go faster through the water. Put good technique together with good tuning, and you'll have great boat speed.
